On December 27, 2019, the LEMESOS VOLLEYBALL team visited the Model Day Care Center for Adults “Aikaterineion” and the “Konstantineion” Senior Citizens’ Home in Limassol.

The team offered Christmas treats — generously sponsored by Mr. Panayiotis Symeou — to the residents, sang with them, spent time together, and shared warm holiday wishes.

Accompanying the players were the President of LEMESOS VOLLEYBALL, Dr. Christodoulos Laspos, his wife Maria Kokkou, their coaches Andreas Spyrou and Toni Liotatis, as well as friends of the team.

The team warmly thanks players Maria Sofokleous, Vasiliki Laspou, Konstantina Symeou, Anna Symeou, Eleni Tsaka, Eleftheria Zikou, Katerina Chrysochou, and Dimitra Krasia. Special thanks also go to Andri Herodotou, who is always by the team’s side, and to coaches Andreas Spyrou and Toni Liotatis.

As the President stated: “Giving back to our fellow human beings is a non-negotiable value for our team.
Sport is, and must always remain, part of our society — being there for those in need.
Today, we saw true love in the eyes of these people and felt the real meaning of the holidays through them.
I personally want to thank the centers for opening their doors to us, the players who gave some of their time, and the coaches and friends of the team who were present to share this experience with us.”
